How an ODC engagement runs
From first conversation to a team delivering under your direction — and what governs the work once it is running.
The process
- 01
Scope
We agree the disciplines, deliverable formats, review gates, reporting cadence and tooling. Data handling and IP terms are settled here, before any work or any access is granted.
- 02
Assemble
Engineers are selected from our bench or recruited to your profile. Licences, workstations and secure access are established in Pune. Lead roles are filled before production roles.
- 03
Establish
Standards, templates, drawing configuration and the review workflow are set up and tested on a pilot deliverable before volume production begins.
- 04
Deliver
The team works in your systems and to your standards. Every deliverable passes IDAC internal review before it reaches you.
- 05
Scale
Headcount moves with your programme on agreed notice. Knowledge is documented throughout so the team is never a single point of failure.
Governance while it runs
The failure mode of offshore engineering is not incompetence. It is drift — small divergences from your intent that accumulate unnoticed until a deliverable arrives that is technically correct and practically unusable.
Governance exists to catch drift early. That means internal review before issue, a named person accountable on our side, and a reporting cadence frequent enough that a misunderstanding surfaces in days rather than at the end of a phase.
Governance mechanisms
Standing arrangements on every engagement:
- Internal technical review before any deliverable is issued
- A named IDAC delivery contact, not a rotating account manager
- Agreed reporting cadence with a written progress position
- Escalation route defined before it is needed
- Periodic review of whether the team shape still fits the programme
Security and IP
Your drawings, specifications and process data are commercially sensitive, and in some sectors export-controlled. Access control, data segregation and confidentiality obligations are agreed at scoping rather than assumed.

The first conversation covers disciplines, volume, timeline and what your existing team already covers.
