The gap worth closing is not between an engineer and the software. It is between an engineer and the physics the software is approximating.
Over 400 hours of industrial FEA and explicit dynamics training delivered in the United Kingdom, plus customised finite element courses developed for both industrial engineers and university students.
Our position on training
Software vendors teach their software. That training is necessary and usually good at what it does, but it produces engineers who can drive the interface and cannot always tell when the answer is wrong.
We teach the other half: why the element behaves that way, what the solver is actually doing, which simplifications are safe and which quietly invalidate the result, and how to recognise a result that is converged but wrong.
This is deliberately harder and less immediately satisfying than a software course. It is also the part that determines whether simulation makes your designs better or simply makes them look justified.

Finite element fundamentals
Element formulation, meshing strategy, convergence, and the common modelling errors that survive review because the contour plot looks plausible.
Non-linear analysis
Material, geometric and contact non-linearity — where the solution stops being a scaled-up linear answer and starts requiring judgement.
Structural dynamics
Modal, harmonic, response spectrum and transient analysis, and interpreting results that vary with frequency rather than load.
Explicit dynamics
Impact, drop and blast simulation: time-step control, material models at high strain rate, and contact.
CFD fundamentals
Turbulence modelling choices, mesh requirements in boundary layers, and convergence criteria that mean something.
Reporting and defensibility
Writing analysis that survives third-party review — arguably the most commercially valuable session in the programme.
Formats
Training is delivered in-house at your site, remotely, or at our Pune office. Programmes are built around your engineers' actual work rather than generic exercises — we would rather run a session on a real component from your current project than a textbook cantilever.
