Our position on making this site usable for everyone.

Our approach

This website has been built with accessibility in mind. Specifically, it uses semantic HTML structure, provides text alternatives for meaningful images, maintains colour contrast intended to meet recognised guidance, supports keyboard navigation throughout including the main menu and honours reduced-motion settings by disabling animation for visitors who request it.

Known limitations

Some technical illustrations on this site convey information visually. Where these are decorative they are hidden from assistive technology; where they carry meaning they have text descriptions. We are aware this is an area where improvement is possible.

Standards

This site has been built with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. It has not yet been independently audited, so we do not claim a specific conformance level. This statement will be updated when an assessment has been completed.
