Set up an offshore team.
The first conversation establishes whether an offshore team is actually the right answer for your situation. Sometimes it is not, and we will tell you.
An ODC engagement is a longer commitment than a scoped study, and it works badly if it is set up against a vague requirement. The scoping conversation covers disciplines, volume, timeline, tooling, review gates and data handling.
It also covers what your own team already does well. The most effective engagements supplement an existing capability rather than replacing one — and identifying which is which early saves a great deal of friction later.
Useful to have ready
Not required, but it makes the first conversation far more productive:
- The disciplines you need and roughly how many engineers
- Expected duration and how workload varies across it
- Deliverable types and formats
- The systems your team works in
- Your review and approval workflow
- Any data security or export-control requirements
- Your current baseline cost, if you want a comparison

A team shape, a commercial basis and a start date, against the requirement as we understood it. If we misunderstood, this is where it surfaces.

Detailed agreement of standards, tooling, review gates, reporting and data handling. IP and confidentiality settled here.

Mobilisation
Team assembled, environment established, pilot deliverable produced and reviewed before volume work begins.
