When this is the right model
Some programmes need a capability you do not hold and would not keep. A plant design package needs piping designers, a structural detailer and a stress engineer in a particular ratio, for eighteen months — and then it does not.
Recruiting that permanently is expensive and hard to unwind. Buying it as discrete outsourced packages fragments the design and multiplies the interfaces. A tailored design team gives you the mix for the duration, with the coordination happening inside one office.

We work through the programme deliverables and identify the disciplines, seniority mix and peak loading required — including where a part-time specialist is more sensible than a full-time generalist.

Profile agreement
You approve the profiles before recruitment or allocation begins. Where you want to interview candidates, you do.

Assembly
Engineers are drawn from our bench where the skills exist and recruited to profile where they do not. Lead roles are filled first.

Environment setup
Standards, specifications, drawing configuration and review workflow established before production modelling starts.

Delivery
The team works to your programme with internal review at each stage, and adjusts composition as the deliverable mix shifts through the project.
